Summary

  • Define explicit selection colors for every visual theme and use the same values in Monaco and xterm.
  • Preserve stored theme IDs while mapping built-in Monaco themes to app-owned wrapper IDs.
  • Add contrast assertions and a browser smoke flow that mouse-selects terminal text in Light and High Contrast Light and checks live theme updates.

Closes #113

Verification

  • npm run lint — passed
  • npm run build — passed
  • npm run test:e2e — passed (219 tests)
  • node --check scripts/smoke-browser.mjs — passed
  • npm run test:browser:chrome was not run because dist/clang contains no compiler artifacts.

Define contrast-checked selection colors once per theme and apply them to
Monaco and xterm. Keep stored visual theme IDs stable by mapping built-in
palettes to app-owned Monaco themes. Add registry and browser mouse-selection
regression coverage.
